Founding stageFrom one nuclear project to the next
Nuclear buyers need confidence before committing capital. Suppliers need credible orders before expanding capacity. I’m building Siderian to connect those decisions across successive projects, beginning with assessments of what buyers can commit to and what suppliers can deliver.

Proposed approach
Connect the two commitments
Buyer readiness, available supplier capacity and the obligations behind a commitment.
Distinct decisions
- Fund a study
- Reserve equipment
- Authorize manufacture
Carry useful designs, supplier records and experience into the next project.
Connect buyers and suppliers
I’m establishing Siderian’s commercial purpose and relationships around a recurring nuclear project problem: buyers need confidence before committing capital, while suppliers need credible orders before investing in capacity. The proposed venture connects those decisions across a programme of AP1000 projects.
A proven reactor design still needs equipment, finance and an experienced supply chain. An isolated build risks recreating capabilities its predecessor already needed. My aim is to carry useful designs, supplier records and experience into the next project.
Assess a real commercial commitment
The first proposed service is an assessment for a nuclear project buyer. It would examine whether the evidence supports funding a study, reserving equipment or authorizing manufacture. Each decision has different obligations and financial exposure; treating them separately makes the commitment clear.
The assessment would consider the buyer’s readiness, the supplier’s available capacity and the terms that make a reservation enforceable. It would identify what can proceed, which conditions remain and when the judgment needs review. A wider coordinating role would require a mandate from the counterparties.
Establish the venture and its governance
My responsibility is to establish Siderian’s commercial purpose, governance and relationships. Independent specialists must govern the technical and assurance judgments on which buyers and investors would rely. The Founder’s Letter explains the proposed institution and the work needed to build it.
Siderian remains in its founding stage. Its independent assurance governance is being formed, and no independent assurance authority has been appointed. Fleet adoption and cost savings remain ambitions of the proposed model. The first task is to establish the evidence and relationships that a real commitment requires.
